I'm with you. USA needs to dump the Little Shawn and Gus adventures. One word - yawn. The flashbacks can get a bit annoying too, but for the most part, I love this show. I think James Roday is fantastic. Just wish the writers would give him more story lines like the telenovela episode. It's a shame that James Roday is hidden away on basic cable...
Hopefully, the little NBC stint of airing Psych in April will help... Of course, I can be a bit of an optimist.

You definitely appreciate this show more than I do...not that I haven't seen every episode. I just think the comedy is hit or miss. I will say that I appreciate Maggie Lawson's coming into her own this season. I could do less with Timothy Omundson's two dimensional character-building segments though.

As for the flashbacks, I find them only marginally tolerable. I've always hated the idea that something personal has to relate to the plot line, though. Monk pulls the same nonsense. The adventures of little shawn and gus are horrendous.
