Amanda is too much of a caricature, and if she talks to that dog one more time I am going to strangle the producer instructing her to do so. I can only get to into a series where dynamic camera angles are used in the most mundane of scenes, and where people hold events they would never hold otherwise only to fabricate as much visually interesting and diverse ways to cram these people together when they would otherwise have, you know, other friends. But I liked Alex, I guess - and Trevor is hilariously Oafish, to the point of being the finest example I've ever seen of a character-less caricature. As in, he acts like he would be totally one-dimensional, but yet he does it with so little emotion or feeling that there isn't even a whole dimension. He is a shadow of a shadow of a self.
